We see Age Management medicine making a tremendous difference in lives, every day. As the leading professionals in this growing field, we have become accustomed to the profound changes and life-altering results that come with our well-researched combination of cutting-edge science and mainstream medical thinking.
Still, we are always pleased to see confirmations that come from the heart... the sort of story we recently received from a friend, whose wife recently began Living Care Clinic's program nearly a year ago.
"As you know, my wife has been a Living Care Clinic's patient for just about a year.
"We recently came back from an annual fall camping trip to the mountains. She always used to hike with me; but for the last few years the tough, vertical, high-elevation trails we love have been too much for her. After a mile, she would have to pause frequently to catch her breath; really laboring. And her joint pain made the climb prohibitive. She might make a mile, and then would have to quit. As a result, she finally chose not to hike.
"This year she felt better, noticing that her shoulders and hips are not bothering her. We did a trail we have not done before up a canyon to the site of old glacier beds. We went five miles in before the trail petered out. It was one of the toughest trails we've been on, very vertical and only allowed tenuous footholds.
"Anyhow, my wife did not need to stop once, did not labor for breath and had no joint pain. Thought you would like to know."
Even though we see remarkable changes in our offices, every day, it's nice to hear about the impact those changes make in the way our patients can live their lives.
